I just bought a used EVO and it will not boot past the White screen. I boot up into Recovery and it says it cant find PC361MG. I downloaded the file and put it on the SD card and still no luck. What are my options here?

Were you rooted before?
Cause where it checks for the PC img is the hboot menu, you have to select recovery from there to boot into it.
You might have screwed up with putting that back on your phone

I havn't done anything. It didn't come with a sd card. So i put mine in it and it worked. But then it started to reboot. Is there anyway to start the phone back to scratch?
first name your flash image PC36IMG not PC361MG
once hboot does its thing reboot your phone, plug in USB and select drive mode and flash a stock RUU from your PC, back to "scratch"

can we get more info? what is your hboot? do you have s-on or off? what exactly are you trying to do? or what is you exact issue? and when you say that you cannot load the ruu, what is exactly happening. be as detailed as you can so that we can help you.
