First time smart phone

if i go to youtube that was in my apps the site comes up but screen says '' attention problem with network response''. I hit the back button and youtube is there but takes for ever to download any videos .... I never seen a video play on my phone because it always says loading video ....


Can someone tell me the steps i need to take to get my internet to run smoothly ... Metro web if i pull that up its says web page not available and has never work

i am new to this completely and have no clue on to how to use this. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

It just seems that the internet isnt reponding to anything but does when i use the google search ... Help thanks

The problem is with Metro. Its networks speeds are unsuitable for video streaming

is there a better way to run the internet i see a lot of people get rid of bong wifi metro wifi what is the best way to set up this phone so i can use it

if your using metro's network its just gonna be that slow.. try youtubing when your connected to a wifi network......

if wifi isn't an option, get the skyfire web browser from the market.. it uses a lot of. compression and makes youtube videos stream better on slower connections. I'm sure skyfire will help u.. as long as u don't mind looking at a smaller video

It gives you that message when you aren't connected.

Do you have more than one widget on your home screens? Try clearing your cache. There is a Clear Your Cache thread in this forum for detailed instructions.

Also, turn your phone off for a few mins and then turn back on. Sometimes giving it a rest helps.

Make sure your wireless settings are correct.

There are a lot of browsers out there but when I have trouble I use Dolphin Mini Browser (thanks to Joser116).

Go to settings, applications, processes running and disable anything that you aren't using.

look at the list and see if anything is on or off that shouldn't be.
