Root HELP! i get the revolutionary screen! what do i do from here?

you do not have to copy and paste but the key is very precise. so write it down or something but be very exact. also the key is case sensitive.
well in that case its giving invalid beta key?
are you filling in the other information it asks you?make sure that you have the right serial number and the right hboot as well.
yeah i have hboot 2.16 and i put the serial number that it gives me when i run revolutionary right?
just make sure that you type those correctly. i'm sorry i do not know much about macs, and also i have as of yet tried this rooting process. i might try this on sunday just so i know the process. all i know that is the key needs to be exactly as it is. somebody said to copy and paste into something like notepad or something to see the key better. not sure how you could to that on a mac. also somebody said that they were able to root using a mac running parallel.

yes i do. but one thing doi need to run the htc drivers before i do the whole revolutionary thing?
on a pc you do need the drivers. install and make sure the antivirus and firewall are off.
how do i turn off the fire wall and stuff? and that needs to be done before i install the drivers?
it will depend on the anti-virus program that is running. some have a firewall some do not. if not then just make sure that the anti-virus program is off. and it does not matter when you do it. as long as you have the fastboot driver installed you should be fine.
okay i deleted my antiv virus program so how do i know if i have the drivers installed? it just starts running and smething about shield wizard, then stops. i really appreciate all your help!
