Help Help Installing/Downloading Problems

I have a Htc Evo rooted (dont think that matters) and when i go to android market to download free apps it wont let me a message appears saying it has started to download but then nothing downloads. Also when i download a game off a website and try to install it it tells me application not installed please tell me any temporary or permanent fixes to this problem.


Note some other apps do download and install mostly games dont work
Also when i download a quick message appears saying download unsuccesful

quick note...when getting an error message ... you can take all or part of that error message and search it here on the forum and it may pop up possible solutions
