Hello,
First of all, thanks to anyone williing to help me out here.
Ok, so my EVO-4g is over a year old. The battery (which was never too great in the beginning) is useless now. So I got an aftermarket battery of a larger capacity (3500mah).
I have attempted to fully charge it with the power on/off cycling method. Of course I have no idea if it is fully charged because the system thinks i have a 1500mah battery installed. Is there a file I can edit that tells the system I have a 3500mah battery installed?
I installed "System Monitor" fropm the app store and when I go into the info screen there is this one line: file full_bat: 1500000. Where is that file? Can I edit it directly (rooted phone)?
Anyones help here would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure that I fully cycle this new battery 5 times or so to ensure I get the most out of it.
Thanks again!
