Help Help me change FW

Hi!!!
Sorry for opening this thread, I know that there are tones of manuals on this forum, but I simply can't put it all together in my head...

So, after 2 weeks of usage of II5 GalaxHero rom, I got soooo pissed off that phone turns off all of sudden, and I decided to go back to some original fw.

My choice fell on IK5 so if anyone can write short manual how to install it. I am confused with all that wipe/factory reseting thingy. Also a valid link to that fw wouldn't be bad.

Next, is there a way to somehow backup some apps from GalaxHero or to find them as standalone installations?
I quite like:
PDF viewer
quick office
wireless tether
advanced launcher

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Well...
First factory reset, just in case.
Second, boot to recovery mode and do wipe.
Next, using odin flash to IK5...
Again factory reset
Would it be enough?
Also, is there a way to remove sim lock?

galaxo doesnt give random reboots
its something on your device, theres a post somewhere which locked down what can cause it if its not a custom app

Oh, I explained it badly...I don't have problems with restart, I am frustrated with battery life and indication... When I take a look it shows about 30%, ten minutes later the phone is turned off!!! And I didn't have those problems with stock firmware (IG8 i think).

you should have, the battery indicator was not modified till ik4 i believe

Yeah battery indicator was horrible till ik4, I've used II5 before and phone would turn off really fast after showing around 35% battery left. On IK4 phone turns off after showing 9% or less...

No really, I didn't have those problems. Can't remember exactly the drop rate of %, but when it shows empty red battery indicator, I had about half an hour left. It was a lot better that with II5
