Help HELP ME PLEASE. Change txt msg ID

How do I change my txt msg ID. When I send a txt message to other people it shows it's from "Me". I can't remember where I did this. I want to change it to my name or at least back to my cell #. People have no idea that the text message is from me.

I don't remember where I did this. I tried looking through my settings on the phone and through the contacts; but I can't find it nowhere. I even look through my gmail settings on the desktop pc.

A friend of mine is also having this exact same problem.
Please tell me exactly where to go step by step please.

The text message on their end should say it is from your number or whatever they have you in their address book as. It is showing as from me because that is how your phone has you.

Have patience, relax. I'm sure a member will come along who will have just the free advice you need.
In the mean time, maybe you could work on your people skills. You will get more advice with a humble attitude, than with anything else. The members here might not want to give advice if they think there going to get there head bit off. Who would you rather give free advice to?
