I have a android pulse and i set a pattern lock thing but i forgot it, i need my gmail and pw but i forgot the password and the security question so i cant unlock my phone. PLEASE HELP what shall i do?
 
I don't have an answer to your question but for those planning to set an unlock pattern you might want to save the code somewhere for this very reason. I pictured the dots as numbers on a key pad:

456
789

Then I wrote down the four numbers that define my pattern.
 
This is one feature I HATE on these certain Android phones. What if you need to tell someone your unlock code? "Uhh, yeah...it's like a "Z" but with a squiggling line through the top....".

Use the normal things come on...numbers and letters. This is an example of trying to go too high tech and it's worse than better.
 
Does anyone know what i should do? because im paying monthly for this phone and i cant even make a phone call. I have phoned t mobile and they have said i need to take it to my closest store and they will repair it, but i need a debit card and i only have an electron.
 
You find it on the back of your phone when you pull out the battery... lol :rolleyes:

Edit: also powering down the phone and then turning back on works too.

try a hard reset back to factory setings
 
Gonna have to wipe it. Hopefully a wipe on there is the same as other Android phones.

Turn the phone off.
While holding the home but hit power and continue holding home.
When you come to a screen with a triangle and an exclamation point let go of home.
Hit alt+L to see the text.
Hit alt+W to wipe it.
Hit the back and home buttons to reboot.

You're gonna have to set everything up again but at least you can get into your phone.

What is a alt+L there is no alt l on my phone
 
Why do you need a debit card for them to repair it?

I may be/probably am way out of line here - but what's to say this isn't a stolen phone?

T-Mobile will be able to help you at the store. They have all your details if you have a contract - why would they need a debit card?

When i hold the end button and vol down and press power it takes me to a blue screen called fastboot or something. but it comes up serial number unknown and nothing happens
 
My pulse has been blocked because i failed the pattern code to many times now they are asking for my google account and password which i dont remember either. Have you tried to Contact your Carrier for help ?

If you know your Google Password you can re-register your phone ...
 
Ok here is the problem...
My t mobile pulse has been blocked because i forgot the pattern code and now they asking for my google address that was registered with the phone and password which i dont remember neither of.

I need a way to completely restart the phone without going into settings because i cannot even make a phone call (emergency calls only) and cannot read texts or anything.

I have also lost the disc which come with the phone, so i cannot install the drivers to my PC.

PLEASE HELP!!!
 
Have you ever checked your google mail on your PC/Mac ?

If so, you might be able to get the info from there. If you can remember your ______@gmail.com or the secondary email address.

If you know the @ gmail name, go on computer, go to gmail and click the forgot password.

If you cant do that and had a secondary email, click you forgot login and it will send info to secondary email.

After you do one of them, you should be able to log back into the phone and save all info

Hope this helps some.

I think you may be running out of options ....

You forgot your security login Pattern, and your google pw, you lost your Disk, you don't have a credit card.

You could set up a new a new gmail account and just get cash and go into a Tmobile service center and get them to reset your phone.

and write down your new passwords and store in safe place ....

For ID?

Try your passport, or driving licence? How did you get the contract? What ID did you supply then?

I also note that on another thread you have lost your google account details too.

You can see how this looks? Not trying to be offensive, but...........
