Root help me root and hack

i want to root my phone so i can use the hotspot have less battery issues and download apps for free please help the easiest way would be nice thanks in advance

(Also, I personally protest against getting apps for 'free'. Stealing ain't cool. I'll pirate to try, then I'll buy. However, just stealing apps, I think, is wack. Someone made that ya know...)

This isn't jail breaking, you don't magically get apps for free. If you could before root you could after. I certainly won't tell you how.

As far as rooting is concerned check the sticky at the top of this root forum called rooting for dummies it will walk you through it.

You can download free apps in the Android market....

Free wifi makes rooting worth it. You would have to make a few changes to your phone to get better battery life. As far as apps, there are a ton of free ones in the market along with the paid apps that devs spend a lot of time creating for us to use at a minimal price.
