Good Day!

Can i ask for little help.??
I have a problem with my x8 coz i'm using a lower firmware version of software .. stated here @ my phone
Firmware : 2.1 -update 1

i want froyo or gingerbread is there anyone can help me please??

and , how do i know if my phone already rooted ??

i bought this phone to my friend and this is not a brand new one that's y am asking ... .

please help me ..

Hi,

Assume you phone is not rooted.
you need to ROOT, install XRECOVERY and then install CUSTOM ROM.
go to X8 - All Things Root for help.
