Root Help me unroot my desire.. Bootloader 0.93

Then you've not done it right cause if you follow the guide you'll boot into Android 2.1 and then you can flash the 2.2 RUU I linked to earlier. Remember, you NEED a gold card to run the downgrade

To help us when you say 'nothing's changed' what do you mean? Are you still in CM7?

Now my phone is back to the stock rom.. the firmware version is 2.1 - update 1..
 
Yes.. I've done it... I updated it to froyo..
but there's a little problem..

Whenever I try to import my contacts from SD card, the contacts application force closes.. I restarted it but still its doing it..
 
Can I install the Indian RUU ?? this one :
RUU_Bravo_hTC_Asia_India_1.21.720.4_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_127705_signed_001

because I live in India.. so there's this separate RUU for this.. and I think I should install this one for the warranty purpose..
what do you think ??
 
No you can't as it'll be for an AMOLED screen handset so unless you're sure that's what you have then don't use it. Did you roll back and then install that Asian RUU? You don't give a lot of information so it's hard to know where you're up to

Anyway, if the original ROM before rooting was 2.13.707.x then you're not on the Indian ROM but the Asian ROM so the 2.13.707.1 RUU IS the right one for you
 
I'm not at home .. I'll have to go home and see on the phone's box if its AMOLED or what .. I think it is AMOLED.. If its amoled, then can i install the indian RUU... ??
and I'm sorry about being so less informative.. I'm such a noob.. I'll try to tell you as much as I can..

yesterday, I downgraded my phone with the help of that guide.. after that I upgraded it with that Asian RUU... 2.13 that is.. and then did a little update through phone settings... that's all..
 
hi...im having the same problem ....i rooted my deisre to 2.3 n i want to bring it back to stock....I bought it from kuwait.i recovered it from 2.3 but its still s-off and i get this joker holding a card named s-off at first.I was foolish at first but i regret nw...i wabt to get rid of it...plss plss help

You need to run an RUU. If you have used the latest alpharev for S-off, the hboot is protected from RUU's so you have to use their downgrader tool.
