Help Help:(Need screen lock bypass on disconnected Evo

Problem-

HTC Evo that is not currently active on a phone plan.
I have forgotten the pattern lock.
It has been so long, I no longer have access to the gmail I used setting up the phone, so that bypass isn't an option :(

I'd rather not reset it if I don't have to, I have stuff on there I want. If that is my only option I will though.

I switched to another carrier and got an Iphone (I know I know ..) Well, I can't stand the iphone! I must not have gotten enough sleep when I made that switch. Plan on either selling my Evo and Iphone and put money toward droid phone I want or even use the Evo depending on if I can save me info or not.

Any help would be appreciated. I know if the phone was on I could just call it, but it is disconnected. I know if I had the gmail account/password I could do it that way but I don't even have access to that gmail anymore.

Thank you for your time reading this. Thanks in advance for any help :)

welcome to the forums!!!!!!

yeah i do not see any other way other then to do a factory reset. since you do not have access to the gmail account used with the phone originally.

That is what I am thinking as well. Been at this for three hours now. I was praying maybe if I connected the evo to my laptop I could just grab the stuff I didn't want to lose off of it but when I plugged the usb cable into the laptop, a message appeared on the Evo notification bar "Charge only" :(

If I remember correctly I have to change the setting (If I could get into the phone) from charge only to ... whatever the other options are lol At the moment I can see the phone on my laptop, but I can't see any of the files or pics .. nothing :(

This is what I get for using an Iphone. The droid Gods are punishing me lol

yeah you have to have the phone unlocked to change from charge to disk drive. but since you can't get past the lockscreen, you can't do that.
Btw the way, thank you very much for responding and welcoming me :)
not a problem at all.........sorry you can't get in. but at least you have now seen the light.......LOL

wait you just want pics? those are stored on the sd card. do you have a card reader or a sd card adapter? you can just pull the card out and connect it to the pc with either an adapter or reader and move your files that way.
