Help, new here

So my friend rooted my phone to take off the so called bloatware. One of the things he took off was Metropcs App Store. I was okay with it at first, but then i went to one of my friends house, (he has the huwaei ascend) and he has android 2.2.2 I wanted android 2.2.2 or higher for my phone because it looks really cool, but he said he got the upgrade off the app store. My question is does anyone have the file for metropcs app store for lg optimus m 2.2.1

BEWARE!!! If you upgrade to 2.2.2 then you will lose your root and there is no way to root the upgrade presently! You will have to go through hoops to get it all back to 2.2.1!

so you are saying i will get alll my bloatware back? i think its worth it though, considering i have a faster version right??? and will i still have all my apps and everything?

version 2.2.2 is pretty useless IMO. if you want speed, keep your phone rooted and just install one of the roms from this site; preferably one with the rOCk (to overclock/increase phone speed) and then the setCPU app.

ok im soo sorry but i have no clue what you said after 'keep your phone rooted'. i dont know much about rooting or roms, my friend rooted my phone for me

jay if you want better then stock a few things need to be done, custom recovery, easy to do really,
then flash through recovery a rom someone made, and even easier thing to do.
