Help Help newbie Inbox question

I have the gmail widget which displays my inbox (black background) with a little mailbox in the top right. When I click on the mailbox it seems to open a whole new page in white, same emails though. Also, when I receive an email I get TWO notifications and effectively have to click on both and open the email twice to delete it.

It seems the gmail inbox is duplicated?? Help!!

There's the Google Mail app and the Mail app on your phone. If you only have a Gmail email account then maybe the Mail app also handles you email, so you get a notification from both apps.

Try opening the Google Mail app and choose Menu > Settings > Email Notifications > uncheck the box. See if that works.

I had this too and all I did was tell the stock email to manually update, as I use gmail as my main addy.
