Root Help!!! Please asap bootloop or bricked

im not , this is wat happen the roms keep going to clockwork after i restarted it , i like the roms id like to stay with one , but everytime i restart it goes into clock work , i have no problem with the 3 roms either one would do , but when i power cycle it goes into clock work it doesnt just restart regularly

i enjoy learning new things an gettin good at doing it but this is just an annoyance right now, i feel dumb , i dnt have this much problems with my d3 im not new but im not all dats great either i just feel it so simple wat am i doing wrong i dnt kno

that isnt natural, i have installed every rom out there on my dx, and i never have this problem, it has to be something you are doing with the rom itself, or something.

i dunno man , i install everything like i should most i do is utilize the tool boxes , i put my own name an stuff change battery icon i may change boot animation , but the thing is im not giving the phone permission to go into recover or selecting an option for it , im doing the update to 605 right now then im a charge an try to install liberty again i hope it works im shoot my self if i got to rsd again

its crazy, i flash roms at least once a week or two weeks, and i never get that problem, i wonder if you need to redownload the roms and try again...

are you making sure that the ROMs are for the right version? Ya know, that you're not trying to put a FroYo ROM onto a Gingerbread setup or vice versa?

im sure im not , it keep restarting in clockwork and i dunno im just frustrated right now , cuz its happening on two X's

At this point, you should consider the possibility that you have corrupted data. Start from scratch. Delete all copies of the ROMs you have downloaded & get new ones from known good sources. Wipe any & all backups.

i took the roms from this site , and sbf from this site , i dunno what can be , i sbf a million times, i deleted the sd card, and the comp said its full or the phone is full but i factory reseted plus did the erase from power an home den volume rockers im having no luck the phone is empty is bone bone stock cards erased phone erased and when iredo it i run into the same problems i even redownloaded the 1 step route and the drivers and rsd lite everything

Hmm...weird...if the phone is plugged in it will boot into CWM...but it shouldn't if you're not plugged in...when it boots back up try opening your bootstrapper and clicking the top button "bootstrap recovery" then it will say it succeeded...then close out the bootstrap per...and power down the phone and turn it back on...see if it helps...

When you download a Rom it has an MD5 value posted next to the download link. ( usually) so when you download your rom you need to make sure the MD5 of your downloaded Rom matches the MD5 of what is posted next to the link.

thanks guy i stocked both phones back and and just rooted and bloat freeze everything , it was too much to keep going back an forth , especially when people needed there phones , was a cousin an girls , but felt bad they lost everything likes games an stuff i dunno if ima rom there phones again

td is not my bestfriend i try to restore data and app , and all the data from the games wasnt there , so i been having bad luck , or watever im doing is completely wrong i dunno i can do my droid 3 no problem i dunno y the x dnt like me

A lot of things are your friend when you know how to use it. :D

Data for apps is often on the sdcard. Did you format or erase that?

I commend you guys for trying to help this guy! My head hurts reading it! Just shows how good of a group we have here!

Couple things I will throw out there, is there ever really a reason to format your SD card unless you are getting SD card errors.

Also always wipe data when going to a new rom, use a backup program like TB or My Back up Root, or Jrummys new back up tool.

if you ever want to just start over, its a good idea to wipe the sd card, because it does contain alot of information about you that you dont know about

i erased everything, and even after i rooted the phone an romed it , i removed bootstrap to see if it would have stoped it , but it kept going into recovery, lewis try to be the person actually doing it , and having no answers

first shoji , that didnt work right so i wipe data an chache even the davlik , and installed vortex , and was doing it , try to go to backuped up rom same thing , now i try to do liberty and the damn thing stuck on the M screen so now im back at rsding it now

Funny, I just deleted my Shuji backup because it kept going into CWR. I'm sure there is a fix but I have enough ROMs backed that I enjoy using anyway and didn't feel like searching for the solution. As far as Vortex goes, I've never had it happen to me, but the Vortex toolbox has a fix for rebooting into CWR.
