I need a custom rom the new froyo 2.2 with the new upadate to it aswell as my phone has stopped working i no how to install the roms and that but cant seem to find a standard one with ALL apps forced to sd card.

What roms are u useing that are stable and are happy with please would you send me the link thank u
 
Loads of roms use A2SD+. This is what you are looking for.

Do you want Sense or Non-sense?
 
I'm sorry, I don't know any FRG83 based Sense roms. Quick google search but couldn't find anything.
 
First I'd just get stock back on and once working look at a custom ROM - a working phone wuld be the important thing. There aren't any FRG83 Sense ROMs yet
 
ERD79 is 2.1 build - Eclair Release D79

ERE27 is 2.1 Update 1

FRF91 is 2.2

FRG83 is 2.2 update 1
 
I just want a rom that will allow me to move all apps to sd card and is stable to use and is the latest os?
 
I am a noob to all this stuff so im not sure how to FORCE A2SD as i have put the rom on then when i try get all my apps back it say memory is low so i cant put them all back on

It tells you in that thread that you download version 2 then partition your card as per the specifications
 
i have just partition my new sd card using ROMmanager i left it to do its thing and i have turned the phone back on but i still dont get the option to move all apps to sd card a2sd+ any help ??
 
It doesn't give an option. It just does. Ire basically tricking Android into thinking your er card is internal memory.

Download quick system info. It will tell you total space and free space. If they are not the same its working

ok then i think i done it wrong what setting should i ise when askign me size i want and that. after it is done i put my old stuff back on there and deleated the stuff it created on the sd card so i think that is why it did not work

i formated my memory card to fat23 and then i installed rom manager and went to partion my card and then it shuts phone down goes to a black screen then a android man comes up with a triangal and dose not do nothing am i doign something wrong. i also downloaded system info and it says these are the info

Sd card 14.35gb
A2SD information not avaliable
internal storage total 148mb free 23.16

i then go to try and move apps to sd card and it is greyed out so it dose not work am i doign something wrong
 
In Rom manager did you use the option "flash clockworkmod recovery"?

The triangle shouldn't appear. It should go to recovery at that point.

Forget the move to SD option, its nothing to do with this method. Completely irrelevant

I have done it ones already but i wiped the sd card again to fat32 so i am doing it again but last time it just done it all for me?

ok it is partioning the card this time great. how dose this work then will it jsut move apps to the sd card on it own now then will i have to do anything or dose it jsut force them to it

ok thankyou for all your help but i dont get how this work i have partitioned the card but it still comes up at the top with a lil logo at the top say low on space ? i have 1.75mb internal storange :| what is going on here
 
That thread on xda says you have to have the partition set up before you flash the Rom so now partitioned, reflash the Rom and do a wipe

ok i have jsut done a full wipe now i am installing the rom again that i was useing and i will let u no how it goes
