Im at my wits end! I've been trying to install recovery and root with no luck. My XE is on ICS, i received it today. I was on 1.27 H-Boot, but i flashed an RUU because i got my phone in a mess, now i'm on 1.29. This is no problem, but when i try to reboot in recovery my phone sits at the htc screen and goes no further. I have to do a battery pull and reboot. Up to yet i haven't successfully installed any recovery since i received it. I unlocked the bootloader with no problems. I know about the wire trick which i will do after i install recovery and root. Ive searched XDA, tried toolkits, but nothing seems to work. I have adb files and fastboot files, and ive tried with and without debugging enabled. I really dont know what else to do. Can anyone help or guide me please?
