Ok so i was once rooted I since have gone back stock because i was sending my phone in for some work. Well I unrooted my phone and it seemed to fix my problem.Now when i try to update to newer updates while its trying to install the update i get a black screen with a lil android and a ! inside a triangle does anyone have any ideas of why it gives me this screen and if so how to fix it?? Any help would be greatly apperciated...

you most likely need a ruu to finish the process. however, if you are taking it in and you are unrooted, why not just give the phone to them as is. just explain that you were updating the phone and this happened.

a ruu is a rom utility updater. it is how your phone gets updated. the only thing is is that it can only update the phone. if your phone is updated already or you have the latest radios then it will not work. what we need to know is what is your hboot or at least what update you were last on. the major software versions are 3.70 (foryo), 4.54(gingerbread, 2.3.3), 4.67(gingerbread, 2.3.5) and the latest one is 5.07.
