Root Help Root/Downgrade

How do i root my HTC desire HD 3.2.5 or downgrade to root.
I'v tried everything and it always fails.

the AAHK is the root standard for the DHD and inspire 4g.

there is also a manual guide,if you prefer doing things yourself in cmd

Thankyou i managed to do it but now my phone has no IMEI :S i can get signal because of it. No how to repair IMEI?

Try running the latest ruu for your carrier,or the latest unbranded ruu if you're unbranded .

After that you may need to update prls,or add apns,but the aahk should not have done anything thaats unfixable

do you know what your build number was before you ran the AAHK? that would make it easy for us to find the correct RUU.

if you dont have that information,who is your carrier,and wwere you branded or unbranded before? as much info as you can give will help

I have no idea sorry. My carrier is three and im in UK if that helps thankyou
