Root Help rooting aospcmod 7.

Go to the All things Root Guide sticky ^^
Look in the first Guide.

We have took great pains to make the ATR Guide sticky a one stop place for all new members to get their much needed correct info.

My problem Is still different because I have aospcmod and cant get back to my stock rom. I need to know how to root.

Download the gingerbreak app
Open it up and select root
Let it sit there

P.s. It will reboot your phone if it worked

It doesn't matter what ROM you are on, as long as you didn't do the ZV9 update in which case you would need to use the Guide on that.
The Gingerbreak.apk will not mess up your phone, but it might take a few try's for it to root your phone. Just remember: If it hasn't rebooted your phone after 12 min. Pull the battery and try again. If you get a error message check that you have USB debugging checked in the settings/applications/devevopment section, then pull the battery and try again.
If you still get an error message: put the stock SD card into the phone and download the exploit onto it and try again. If you already have the stock SD card then pull it out and put it into the PC and Re-Format to FAT32 ( go to start/computer, right click on the SD card Icon and select the format option, select format to default settings)
