Help .. Something downloading in background

Hi all, I'm new here as you see
This is first time that I have problem with my sgs2. Since 3 days ago he keeps on downloading SOMETHING in background. And with thatt comes high battery drain. I don't do nothing and in 1 hour he downloads 6-8 mb. Without activity. And gets really hot. I downloaded ONAVO COUNT and it says that ANDROID SYSTEM downloads that.... No programs. Have you any ideas? Thanx

P.S. it is rooted 2.3.5 I think gingerbread.

Nothing shows up as being downloaded in the status bar or in settings > applications?

Do you have the SGH-T989? Have you tried to get an OTA update lately by any chance?

You might also try Lookout or Avast and let it scan and see if there might be any malware.
