Root Help! Stuck in HBoot and can't boot up

Hey Guys,

I messed up pretty big. I meant to downgrade to the official 2.2 since I was having some problems but messed it up. I was going to use the file found on this forum which has helped me before. But of course I stalled the wrong PB31IMG.zip file (my fault for not renaming or removing it). This is PB31IMG.zip is a very old file and one of the first downgrades I found. The file installed fine but after it keeps booting me into HBoot and wont start up the actual ROM. I see that it has also downgrade my radio to 1.0x

So basically my question is what did I do? Do I just need to install a ROM and will I be fine? Is it ok to install the upgrade radio? Is it ok to just install the PB31IMG.zip from the 2.2 downgrade forum, and will it hurt anything?

I know I messed up and thanks for the help in advance.

Also, I was running stock rooted 2.2 HTC ROM with adrynalyne's battery saver kernal. IS the kernal whats causing the problems?

you can just install the 2.2 PB31IMG.zip file and you'll be fine. You will just have to root again.

You're already unrooted anyway from your previous effort so just come on up to current standards by using the new file:

Then root if you want and don't forget to do a Nandroid backup.
