HELP... Stuck on Google start up screen!

Tryed to do a simulated battery pull. I guess I made the wrong selection. Now it's stuck on black Google start up screen.

Can you explain what a "simulated" battery pull is? Maybe you need to do a real battery pull. Open the tablet (It's easy, fingernail under the upper left corner) and disconnect and reconnect the battery pack

I powered up while holding the power button and volume down. Thanks for the help, I didn't know you could pull the back off so easy. I pulled the battery and it booted like normal.

I tried that one time to go to recovery and the same thing happened. If it ever happens again hold down the power button. It takes a long time but it will eventually turn off and then you can reboot normally.
