Help Help! tariff overused - mobile data question

Yes, your bill wont be able to tell you either. Just whether it was MMS or internet. But you cant see what is connecting to the internet until you receive your bill (as your usage is reset)? is that what you mean?

I will be able to see what days I had large internet usage won't i?

If I see it was a day when I KNOW for a fact I was at home on wi-Fi then it will narrow down the causes I suppose
 
Not happy that this has happenned on my first ever month as a smartphone user.

Maybe it is user error, but its a damn hard one to find the cause.

I don't think so. Phone calls are itemised on an orange bill but data usage is just a total for the month. The bill will tell you nothing you don't already know.
Orange may be able to give you some more info but you will have to ask for it.

Another thought. You don't have a pod cast client do you? they can use data very quickly if there are a few episodes to download?
In fact maybe if you list the apps you do have installed that may help.
 
Am on orange and never get near my 100Mb allowance.
I only download apps at home (wifi).
Can recommend 3G Watchdog to keep an eye on data use
