Root Help the forums by seeding firmware torrents

Take the torrent and upload it to every site possible. Let the world seed it for you.. Also many sites will add thier own tracker to the .torrent file. Trust me. And dont skimp on keywords.
First go upload to sites that list or index multiple sites. Less than 3 weeks you will have seeders from vietnam or india gained 10 trackers . Make sure dht is enable and i think there maybe a new option called Plex. oh translate (motion firmware) (msm8969) anything like that to chinese or or any place motion is big add that to keyword at sites you upoad. promise you will gain far more seeders than you could ever get from this forum. Guaranteed.

Havent done this in years but out of memory i will list a couple sites.

If yoy get lucky a tech company ,colleges ,anybody affiliated with tech institution or bussiness will permanatly add it to thier Fat Pipe. If your registered at anyother forums post the .torrent as a favor.
Put our web address in the file name and you might get a dev or santa clause stop by with a bag of goodies.
 
So i clicked the first firmware its downloading now . How do i seed , do i do it after its downloaded ? If so how would i do so ? Appreciate your help
 
I have another tip to help you get started
Some torrent software has trouble connecting to other software.
So on your computer use multiple clients to seed the same file. You will have better oportunity to connect without rejections.

Windows tcpipsis allows 10 halfopen connections this patches to 50 or option for whatever you want.maybe xp only not sure but all in all will make your torrent experience kickass.

Thanks bro , but you just got mr stuck on stpid . Im kind of slow , everything you said was almost too over whelming for my brain , it shut off for a little bit or lagged for a minute trying to process what u said . Give me some time and ill get to that but currently , im trying to help with a phone . Not sure if all those things you said can be done trew a phone .
 
sorry that was directed to the group in general somebody here with knowledge and time will understand,
also if you are serious you may find a freewebhost that allows uh whats it called shell? you are allowed to use putty to ssh, its like access using dos, you can install torrent through commands and use webhost to seed,
sorry to be vague been years but have alot of knowledge in this, am sorry not speakup in the beggining, i didnt have a laptop and typing long posts on my phone is difficult.
 
Hey guys , so i downloaded the c firmware . It finished downloading , and it said seeding . Left it over night while downloading another firmware but the seeding stoped for c firmware and d isent even downloading , well almost not . Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

I have a very specific teqnique
I stumbled across an article years ago by bram cohen in his early torr ent devolopment stage.
I then managed to create a 6 year torrent by using Dht (not using trackers)
Also making and managing trackers.so if this works future downloaders will be connected to russian and bagdad seeders. This is not a well sought after package so a little extra work is needed to build a good wave. Proper packaging,labeling,presentation and availabilty.

I dont need any of this .i have the files.but will expose convenvienencd of upgrade,downgrade and unbrick to people e that would otherwise have no way of knowing

I have a little time to waste. So i read all the previous posts and thought i might have a tip or 2
Ocasionaly you might get a break in your connection and not actually get every little piece that is put together to make the whole file .this doesnt happen often but can cause an issue later especially later when flashing. When your client says your done tell it to Force Recheck that will compare every single piece and compare if to the hashtable and verify you have every piece.if yoh dont it will go ahead and download the failed files.

If you are downkiading fine and noticing that your downloads stop and start regularly. Some companys monitor many ports for the torrent protocal and send a weird packet that that makes your connection reset and you will slowly reconnect to your peers. Comcast is known for this tactics finding a port mostly used by safety and health services may help. Using encryption setting may help. I believe there is a file fir comp and router setting to avoid constant resetting.
 
I use port 1000. Works great! :D
Edit: I use that port so upload speeds are fast. Not sure if that port will also be good for downloading?
 
ok guys, i didnt do this yet,i got mad over the Moving on thing,i am ok now.
so i talked to sepero i am going to use bootbuddy as a tool to gain seeders. i have his permission. his script will get alot of notice by the world which intern will heighthen the firmware wave of seeders.so if anybody here has written a freeware script or app or a trial app and will authorize my distribution i will take the time to anylize the app or script and apply my system for you.this will help you get your work known and intern will help the firmware seed cause. all i need is link to app or script feel free to include a txt file with instructions and links to t
your site or twitter facebook whatever.
some of you know how i live right now, weekends are the best for me to find places to SETUP. this is real i am serious and will happen, i dont need help i can initiate the beginning.you guys have done alot of work and may not want to understand so i wont ask for help seeding.which is ok that means i have work harder in my preparation details.

My long term idea for this would be having a wiki-type page of firmware torrents. It would include torrents for all devices- Samsung, LG, Motorola, etc. all makes and models. And a user could just look up their device on the the page and download the torrent they needed.

The reason I say wiki-type page, is so that maintaining the page doesn't rely on just one person, and anyone can add new torrents for new devices as they get them.

This forum doesn't support wiki-type pages as far as I can tell, so it may need to be hosted elsewhere (or we need to come up with a different solution)
 
i am charging my phone now, getting ready to to start assembly, am by wifi for laptop seeding as well.
all i need is permission to use and slightly modify the instructions from the guide.
 
@Sepero, change the magnet links to the one from the pirate bay, the magnets from TPB have more seeders/trackers.
