HELP US HELP YOU !!! with your Problem

Okay it is too late where I am to be going there. I tried the thread that downloaded an Android kit and so on and it got me no where. I think I will try to get some sleep and try again in the morning. Thanks to all who have made me feel comfortable with these threads and there instructions. Hopefully tomorrow, well actually today, will be better. Goodnight all.
 
Hi all I'm new to this as a matter of fact this is my first question. I am currently using a Nexus 4 and recently I have noticed that free games from the Google play store are being down loaded and installed on my device without my permission. They just start to down load all by themselves. This happens once a day at about 7:00pm it is also happening on my wife's Galaxy Nexus. Even doe they are free they are using up about 35MB per down load I only have 2 gigs per month of data that is shared with my wife so you can see at this rate it will go fast. Does anyone know what may be causing this and how I can resolve this problem. I don't really want to do a factory reset and if it's an app that is causing this I don't know what app PLEASE HELP :-(

I have not heard of this before. Try opening the Play Store app, then press on the settings button (3 dots). Anything that you could adjust there to stop auto downloads?

On Rogers, in Canada

Every time I long press an app on a screen to move it around, the screens start flipping continuously without stopping. I have to pretty much time my drop and aim it where I want it to hopefully and on the screen I want. Any ideas?

Is your device the LG Optimus G?
Are you using the stock launcher or a 3rd party launcher?
I'm not familiar with your device, but I can try to help. :)
 
Thanks for the quick reply! I'm using an LG Optimus G with the stock launcher. I just realized I posted the wrong carrier as well: it's Bell.
 
What do you mean "won't work"? The reset does nothing, or the problem is still there?

If the menu doesn't do it, try going into recovery mode (usually involved booting while pressing some button(s), varies a little with manufacturer) and doing the reset from there.
 
I have a Chinese tablet Id qotm975 the factory reset doesn't help its still stuck on the android screen what do I do to reboot

Hi, I'm unable to change my lock screen to a custom picture. Whenever I choose a file on my phone it says that it's cropping the file and returns me to the main screen but the picture doesnt get applied. However if I try to select a preset wallpaper from the phone it works. This is only a recent problem as I was able to change my lock screen with custom pics some weeks ago but now it doesn't let me anymore. I've already performed a system restart but it didn't help either.

I'm a first time smartphone owner that just purchased an s2 flashed to Page Plus (United States). Every attempt to watch a YouTube video results in the screen saying connection to server lost. Videos on other websites just stay stuck with the loading icon. Any help with getting videos to play would be forever appreciated. :)

My problem is as follows:

The phone started out as a HDC Samsung S3 i9300 clone.
I have rooted the phone using "king android root". The phone works fine but I do not have "recovery mode" that is I can not boot into recovery mode at all. All I get is the android man with an ! mark.
I failed to make a back before I rooted the phone. I have a zip file I would like to unzip in phone storage. I have downloaded numerous apps ie quick boot - ROM Manager - Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper to see if any will allow me to get to recovery mode but to no avail. It just appears as if there is no recovery mode on the phone. I have also used the Power + volume buttons again to no avail. If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.
