Root [HELP?]Very dimlit screen

henslo

Newbie
Have a problem with my screen. Can see splash image very dim when turning it on but goes black after that. When i try going into recovery same problem. But going into bootloader mode can see it but very dim, Just wondering if this can be fixed or if i need to just get rid of the phone all together. Using TWRP recovery MTDEV CM9

From computer repair experience it sounds like you have a faulty light bulb. If it were me, I would revert to stock and call VM if the issue persists.

If you're going to dump the phone, can we work out a deal? I can use a second phone to DEV on.
What's your offer? Or how are you going to dev on it with no screen?
The factory skin protector is off but no scratches, rest is still in good shape

Well, I can still run ADB on it. And I can just try things on it. Would you consider donating it? I pay shipping?

Yea, i could do that, give me acouple weeks get paid im buying something else was considering the samsung galaxy reverb.

Looks like a nice phone. I think that if I were to be buying now I would have it on my consider list. Even though I don't think it will have the develper community we have here. I do LOVE an AMOLED screen. Kida wish I could put one on our phone. That and a better touch screen. I think if my wife has an accedent with her phone, I'll some good choices.

It's definately on my consider list lol, Although you're probably rite it wont have the dev community like here, this is an awesome dev team for this phone. But after looking on newegg considering getting a Experia U, or something else want to get rid of VM's horrible service get none where i live lol

For me it's always the service first. I was on Sprint for years and never had a real problem with my service, so when it came time to consider VM I didn't hesitate on that part. That and I had the 30day trial period.

Well, that sucks for us, but I'm glad you had fun.
