Alrighty! thanks so much for everything! Ima finally give it a go tomorrow ha....by the end of all this madness ima know more about this stuff than you doNope they will both be overwritten
lol jkGo for it then you can play tech support on AF TB ATR![]()

Thanks man! I do tooall is good, let us know once you are done tomorrow hope you can get your phone running right or a replacement without any issues
. I'm going back to the old style of transferring it over via my CPU, but every time I do that, it ends up not showing up on my sd card...I'm gonna call it quits here shortlyso dont check md5 once its on the phone?Try renaming it on the CPU and sending it to the root of the SD, once it is on there (verified by the CPU) boot into hboot and let it flash
)hmm thats a pretty big risk to take..I don't know If I'll do that or notIf you can't then no, best case scenario you get unrooted, worst case you get bricked and have to file an insurance claimas it stands right now if you need to have the phone replaced rooted you have to file an insurance claim as your warranty is voidor get to try to be real sneaky with your warranty use "the phone just won't boot I don't know why..." (I didn't tell you to do that)
This is pretty interesting..especially at the bottom where it says update
Verizon Begins Charging Full Price of Warranty Phones if Rooted? (Updated) - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog
I think I'm just going to stay where I'm at..I'm on CM7 right now, with like the 2nd gb leak radio i think, and it is working alright at the moment, and it has since yesterday. But I have a feeling as soon as I turn 4g on its going to mess up again..so I'm going to just stay right where I'm at for now, not use 4g, and go from there....I need a phone to use during the day and If I bricked it with the flash, I would be royally screwed, and have no idea what to do, and not have a phoneYeah I know it is, luckly I think if it does eff up on the first flash you should be able to boot into hboot still and flash a recovery and rom. You may need a card reader to get the recovery zip on the card however.
...a half working phone is better than a not working phone I guess :/How do I go about doing this?? I would do anything to get a warranty replacement without having to go through the unroot process..I think you have some hardware issues if your SD isn't mounting right and your LTE radio is effed up, you should be able to get a warranty replacement
Ugh i guess theres no way around unrooting thenit would involve unrooting unless you want to test the update from droid life, then I would just flash the stock rooted rom and uninstall SU
I'm still just scared about flashing those files.Ok..now to make sure my SD card will work, should I format it again? I have a spare 16 gB one that I could just format or something ..would that work? Or would that problem happening not have anything to do with my SDIf you have the proper file on your CPU and rename it then put it on the root of the SD the chances of it happening seem very low unless there is a problem with writing it on your SD.
If you brick but can boot into hboot you just need to get a flashable recovery onto the root of the SD and flash it in hboot, then boot into recovery and flash a rom.
If you brick but can't boot into hboot then you need another phone to call VZW or the insurance company
