every time i try to add a widget to my homescreen from my app drawer, i long press a widget like system tools and I get "WARNING...install Holo launcher HD as system app to use the widgets tab (root required), otherwise you can only add widgets by long press on desktop". I'm rooted, by the way. any suggestions?

Why are u using holo launcher anyway? Lol. Its a cool launcher and all but I would prefer nova or apex over holo any day for ics. Holo is pretty much for phones without ics and want a good taste of the stock launcher. Just my opinion.

I disagree. There's really not a whole lot of difference between holo, nova and apex. Just because holo works for devices lower than 4.0 firmware doesn't mean it's made primarily for those devices.

I use holo hd on both my motion and my nexus 7,and I've tried pretty much all of them. Hell, I've spent way too much money on launchers; holo, apex, nova, tsf shell, spd - all paid versions. Little over 40 bucks.

I prefer holo.

Its really not much difference in the launcher from ics and jelly bean. I've tested them side by side before. Ics and jb aren't too much different. But back to the matter at hand, I heard it was another launcher out there for ics I just don't remember what the name of it was.
