Help HELP!!!! wifi problems

I am not sure where I read it exactly, but some people where complaining that some of the CG tablets also had wifi problems after flashing to Tim's rom. I think that is why even the CG sales(wo)man told me to not install tim's 'old' fw, but wait for Tim 6A to fix potential problems.

Use an ethernet cable or cross your fingers & wait for tim6 to see *if* that solves your problem.

Edit:\\ - and report your problem over at apad forums: http://www.apad.tv/apadforum/forum.php

This will hopefully prevent others from having the same problem and should help you to resolve your issues more quickly.

Yes i am using an ethernet cable, but thats REALLY annoying. I dont have a WiFi Stick thats working with the Flytouch.
I hope that Tim

The admin of the apadtvforum said that he will upload a new firmware today. I will try it with this one and report if its working again.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the purpose of this forum is to provide user-to-user support for the Gome FT3, not a platform for personal agendas.

Please keep posts on-topic, and remember the Android Forums mantra.... attack issues, not people. We'e all part of one big Android family.... :)

I opened my flytouch and saw that one of the four wires that connect the WiFi-board to the mainboard is loose. I fixed that and now WiFi works fine. So everythings fine with the CG tabs. Anyways thank you very much for your help.

lol

Ah well, all is well that ends well :D

So we are back to where we were, always check with the supplier before flashing to tim5a (or tim6 soon) rom anyway, better to be safe than sorry.

Nice :) How did you do that? Did you follow any tutorial? If so can you link it? A handy 'howto' tutorial would be the best :P

Do you mean a tutorial on how to dissemble the Flytouch? If so, there is one at androidtablets.net (its for the flytouch2 but they are very similar):
[TUT] How to dissemble the flytouch 2

Then i just saw that one of the four wires that connect the wifi-board (the small board between the battery and the speaker) to the mainboard was disconncted so i soldered it to the board again. Thats all ;)

There's two types of 803 floating around, one's fine, the other isn't.

I'm trying to set aside some time this week to add a fix to FunnyComb, can't make any promises though as the wife is on the lash for the weekend so I'll be child minding.....and sadly....sober

I see you protected your "name" here :p

Every time I see you mention Funnycomb, I always do word association in my head, it goes something like this, Funnycomb = Cunnyfomb = Cunnyfunt = and there I will leave the next word to be easily figured out :D

I might just name my next release Cupid Stunt :D
