Help Help with 2 email apps

To stop resending mail you've deleted you'd have to make sure "delete mail from server" is checked. I don't remember if that setting is in the phones email settings or the desktop version of mail you use.

Steve,

On behalf of many of us, for certain, thanks for making that call and getting an answer.

Any way for me to contact Samsung and suggest they reduce their mail check intervals from 5 minutes to 1 minute? Would love to see that option added.

Do you have contact info? You can send privately if you wish.

ScandaLex,

Can't say. I have not used iOS 6 (I think that is the newest version).

The one big problem I have with the generic mail app on Android is that when in areas with bad connection, all the mail you have already deleted gets redownloaded over and over again. Never had that problem with Apple mail.

I am not here to start a war of Apple vs. Android mail. I am in a unique position that having Apple devices all my mail synced much better with iCloud using Apple mail over Android. I also think that SPARROW MAIL for iOS was one of the best email clients ever made. It was bought by Google 6 months ago so I am praying for an Android version soon.

+1 All about settings.. I've never had email stutter with Android. Try the settings and see if you can sync it correctly. No war, it's all good. :)
