Root Help with Boot Animation

I apologize as I know this is off topic for this sub forum, but it's pretty much the only place I post on the forum. I am taking a stab at creating a boot animation, and the first one is a pretty simple concept just to test the waters. I have a red on black image that I transition to black on red, then back and forth. I have 54 .png files to complete one complete transition. I created the .zip with the desc.txt file and the part0 folder, but the animation is not smooth at all. It pretty much seems to stay on one image for a second or so, then show another, and so on. Any suggestions on how to make it smoother?

You could always make a boot animation on the UOT kitchen with your own files.

It's always good to actually know how to make something like this on the other hand.

Change how many pics per sec. Sounds like you have it set to low

I've tried anywhere from 12 to 30 FPS, you think going higher would work? I had read that 30 FPS is about as high as you should go, but will definitely try boosting it.

I also just found out about the UOT kitchen, I will be checking it out today. Thanks!
