Root Help with Bootloop?

i have this phone that everytime i flash i new rom or use anything it gets into a boot loop its not constant it will go away after i try and use zzsuperwipe then ill flash another mik rom either 2.45 2.55 or 2.59 and recently just tried 3.11 i flashed the kernal to anthrax since i assumed it was the kernal issue but still im having the same issue its not constant either it just does it when it wants to be a pain im running hboot 2.10 with s off ive been trying to flash this phone since yesterday and its really holding me back and im not sure what the problem is exactly with it

It seems like you are familiar with the process. :p

Do you happen to have a nandroid backup of a rom that you have had running previously with no trouble? Might try restoring it and see how it runs for you for a bit. You don't need to wipe before restoring.

We will see what the others come up with. I would like to see if we can eliminate wiping problems or bad downloads though, so try what I suggested, if you can. :)

ok so this is what i would do:

1. try another sense rom

did that work? no? then:
2. next try an aosp rom

still no go then:
3. try a ruu based off of your current radio.

did that work? if not then:
4. unroot the phone as you might have a hardware issue as the steps above prove that it is not software.
 
well i think its 2gb but at times i took out the card and STILL had the issue. and no i dont have any backups it was a phone i got off ebay a while back i dont need any of the info on it. but as for thos steps that ocnbrze mentioned. its just really late and i dont have the time for that, i really need to look at the hardware as i am changing the LCD on the phone i had originally flashed to boost for my friend then the digi was smashed so i had this one sitting around i wanted to fix it real quick and swap the phones but then i ran into a lot of issues. ill get into that later im just really tired now.

anyone have a thread on the evo lcd hardware? ill be openting up both phones tomorrow and taking pictures if that would be useful to any others (for informational purposes)
 
hope this helps someone anyways ill start lookinto into this boot loop issue on monday unless i get some time over the weekend but ill be back here tho on this thread
 
OK im about ready to sell this phone so i needed to get back into this...so i turned it on today and it works fine but then i have it on the charger and now this had done it TWICE i start the phone after i take out the battery it vibrates the one time like normal before the screen goes white after from being black but instead it makes 5 more vibrations and the phone just doesnt turn on.....im a bit of a loss here....when i wake up ill need to figure this out. the phone never gave a problem for a while so i dont know how the hardware could just stop working its not like i dropped it. then again somehow MAYBE it could have happened before i got the phone but theres no way to tell. ive flashed many different roms onto this phone with the same bootloop issue.i dont know what an ASOP rom is.....or what is ment by RUU i mean i know theres a exe file with RUU in the name title but im not sure still i just follow the directions....is there any other way to test for faulty hardware. also is it bad that i used the phone for months as a spare charger?
