Root help with cwm

Hello everyone I have problems with cwm. I am rooted everything is running good and have been trying to boot into cwm. I have tried booting volume up and power but it just boots normal, I have tried volume down and power go into hboot and select recovery, it gives me the green arrows for a few seconds then the red triangle so I have to pull battery to reset. I tried quick boot and boot in recovery with same outcome. Im new with some of this and wondering what Im doing wrong.

oh and when I flashed the file in hboot it did unzip and I did select update and it confirmed so Im assuming it installed. Is there anyway to check if it did install.

Which recovery did you flash? They are my builds, where the main reason it isn't posted everywhere. Is I don't like keeping track of issues on so many forums. Any way as it sounds recovery didn't take. If I am am not mistaken the screen you are seeing after selecting recovery is the stock one. If you press power and volume at the same time I believe it will unhide the menu. I think that is the right button combo off my head any way.

It sounds as if recovery didn't take, though running adb reboot recovery if it installed will boot to clockwork.

The red triangle you're getting is from stock recovery. I'd reflash cwm. You can either flash it through hboot with a PH44IMG.zip with cwm recovery.img inside, or go into fastboot via hboot and flash the recovery image from your computer using fastboot flash recovery <filename>.

With this phone, the Volume Up + Power combo doesn't seem two work for getting direct to CWM. You'll probably have to get to it via hboot. Hold Volume Down + Power then wait for it to finish searching for zip files, then it will let you use the menu. Select recovery and you'll get CWM.

Though it's easier that you download an app to do this for you since you have root. I would recommend "Quick Reboot" as that works fine for this phone.
