Help Help with deleted files (phone memory)

Is it possible to recover deleted files off the phone's memory? If it is, how can I prevent that
My phone is a galaxy note II v. 4.1.1
 
I got ya moved over into the note 2 forums.

Unless those files was backed up into the cloud, im not sure if they are recoverable
 
Deleted files can still be recovered, but you need software for it. Also it is not 100% guaranteed. You might get lucky and recover all of it. The main thing is NOT to use the card you want to recover files from to prevent further 'damage' to the file being recovered. Since it will overwrite the sectors that most recovery software will look at to try to rebuild the file.
