okay imma newbie to this evo and i was told it was fully flashed to metro pcs. but i can not get online without having to use wifi. So in other words my mobile network/data does not connect with the evo 4g. so if anyone can help me please let me know. your help will be appricated it.

Don't know much about metro pcs...is your mobile network turned on?

yes it is on. but nothing happens
Grasping at straws here since no one else is chiming in, but are you roaming and perhaps don't have the "data roaming box" checked?
or maybe you don't have a data plan?
Do you receive emails etc without wifi?
I should also probably ask you if you are rooted and what rom etc you have eh?
