Help help with pics from phone to computer

the pics i take as camera shots on phone i cant get them off the phone when i plug in my phone to computer?The sd card was the card that came with the phone(2gb).anyone know how to have my computer see the pics?when i plug in my phone it just opens whole phone with files.but checked all of them & pics arent there but yet the pics are being stored on my sd card?

When you hook up to your computer with phone in disk drive mode and debugging enabled, it should bring up both the internal memory and SD card contents. If using Windows, wait for the "What do you want to do?" popup and then select "View files and folders". If you are seeing the internal memory at that time, close out of that one and there should be another identical popup for the contents of the SD or you can use explorer or My Computer to view contents of the "drives" as well.

Once you are seeing the SD card, go to DCIM > 100Media to access the pics housed on the SD card.
