Root Help with root, please!

is from the optimus V's ZV9 way of rooting 2.2.2
There is no other method. No One-Click-Root Apps.
If this doesn't work, you have to try all this:
Uninstall/Reinstall drivers for Optimus M>Reboot>Try again
Reboot phone> Try again
Factory Reset the Optimus M> Try again
If all this fails, then you will have to reflash 2.2.2 with my guide which I or (someone else) will link when you have tried everything I said.

Huh? Try an app installer instead, why are you trying to install with thinkfree office? - to be honest if you can't install an app I wouldn't even think about rooting
Think free office is basically a file manager and cheap MS office in one. So think free office CAN install .apk files.
Thinkfree can not install an app. It can maybe pass the file off to the package installer using intents, but it attempts to open apps becuase an app file is just a zip file.
