Root help with root

Need help...
Rooted my phone using unrevoked. Had to do a hard reset to phone. Tries to root the phone again, unrevoked says it was a success but when i try to do something( use wireless tether) it asks if my phone is rooted? How to solve this problem??? Thanks

so do you have s-off? power off then press and hold power+vol down. also i would recommend that you read the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/194918-rooting-dummies.html guide in the after rooting section. there is a ton of info there that will help get you going.

It may have failed to root your rom. Do as Ocn suggested and check to see if you have s-off. If so, you can do the rest manually if needed.
