Root Help with Root

Hi,
I'm following this guide for my HTC Evo 4G. My HBOOT is 2.18, and on the boot screen it's S-ON and RELOCKED - I unlocked the bootloader using the HTCDev tool. When I tried to get the amon ra recovery, in the command prompt it gives me: "(bootloader) signature checking... FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)"
So I don't have the amon ra recovery, just the stock one... could anybody help me out?

Your H-boot still says Relocked??

Can you double check that? If so, thats your problem.



Also, which method are you trying to use to install the recovery:

ADB command method
android flasher method
PC36IMG method

the re-lock option is just an option step in the HTC's guide. that last step is not necessary. you will need to unlock it again in order to get a recovery installed.
