Help!!!!!!!

Sooo last nite, i was on the fone while washing dishes (BIG MISTAKE).. my fone slipped and fell in the water.. i took it out and took apart the fone then turned it back on... it worked for a minute then then screen went blank...so i took my fone apart then buried it in rice...

so question is my fone a goner??

I think your done. Try immersing your phone is a bucket of white rice for a few days to suck out the moisture.

Most water logged phones are damaged when they are turned on whilst still wet.
Water does not damage electrical things until a current is passed through them.
For anyone reading this thread if you accidently submerse your phone in water, take it out, remove the battery as soon as possible, take the phone apart as much as you can without resorting to screwdrivers, torx drivers etc and as everyone else suggests, immerse in dry, uncooked rice. My ex had a 30 second dunk in a brook in Lincolnshire with her Nokia and everything, apart from her wi fi, was working perfectly.

Re the above, turning on does the most damage but water does corrode components naturally.

If its not in a bowl of rice within 10 minutes without being powered on, you'll be lucky

shouldnt of turned that on without giving it 24hrs dry time in some rice

sorry to say but i think thats game over
