Use this. Much easier to work with. it's basically dummy proof. lol Plus it's the only one out of like 5 programs that works consistently for me.

Hahaha. I wasn't calling you a dummy. But yeah I can help you use it.

Basically download the program. Make a folder in C:/programfiles and call it Android. Paste the program files in there.

Take whatever apk you want to play with and paste it in there as well.

Open the easyapkdissassembler batch file and click 0 for apk disassemble. Type in the apk name, framework-res.apk for example and click enter. It will make a new folder of the apk's contents. It will be called DIS_framework-res.apk

When its time to compile just do the same thing except you will press 1 to compile. Voila.


just follow the directions when you open the program. It's VERY VERY easy. hence the name of the program. lol

You already have 7zip and a photo editor like Paint.net right? Those are a must for making themes.
