Once you get the new file downloaded go into es file explorer>download folder and delete the first file you downloaded to avoid confusion. It will be the one that is 5/16 and you should have the other that is 5/23 keep that one.
 
Nothing from there. You have both the rom zip and gapps zip in your download folder, right? If yes, reboot to recovery and I will help you flash it.
 
1. wipe data/factory reset
2. wipe cache partition
3. scroll down to advanced click it
4. wipe davlik cache

Let me know when you get this done.
 
Now go to Install zip from sd card. Choose zip from sdcard. Then scroll down to to download click it then choose the aospcmod 5/23 zip first click it. It will take some time to install. Once its finished repeat the same steps for the gapps zip. Then reboot. It will take a little while to load up the first time so be patient.
 
how do i get back to apply for sd card zip? im at advanced still i dont want to hit wrong button. Do i click back on the phone
 
Just the back button on the phone. And look back at my last post i edited it with what to chose once back at the main menu.
 
Yep thats your new boot screen. It will be there for a little bit. The first time you flash a rom it takes time to boot.
 
im already here to new screen do i tap droid to start will i still have my google also i had sipgate and google voice callback cause im in rural area so i use calls for free in home. But i do have a prepaid plan outside
 
should i connect to wifi since i only use that for indoors for phone service. Im on ntelos on a plan with prepaid but im on frawg network so data plan doesnt work unless outside in town.
 
Yea if thats how it works best. You will notice now on when you pull the notification bar down you have buttons up top. You can change those to anything you like in your settings but it should have wifi/gps/bluetooth by default. Its one of my favorite features. It makes it so easy to turn things on and off.
 
Hey man ty so much i really apprciate this youre a godsend. The free calls yes they go over voip service i get a number and google voice call back with sipgate its pretty cool for free call inbound outbound. I have service but only works outside and nearest tower is 2 miles away. Thanks again now the fun stuff seeing what this can do. Should i download all that fast stuff like overclocking and such? Setcpu etc, i do like it to go fast but not melt lol.
