Hey!
Having been an avid Symbian/Nokia fanboy for the last two and a half years I have decided my next phone shall be an Android :)

I started questioning my fanboyism around three months ago, I saw Symbian^3 was same old story, and S^4 would just be Froyo with a tenth of the apps :(

Meanwhile there is no MeeGo device and the N9 is way out of my price league so it seems :'(

Some of you may already have heard of me (doubt it) but lately I have been involved in Symbian modding, cooking 5530 CFWs and porting them on dailymobile.
But I have found Symbian can only be improved so much and there is little scope for customisation.

So I decided to register here!
Anyway thats my story ;)

Haha the two standard welcomers lol

Any Europeans here are is it mostly Americans? ???

Also clearly no one has heard of me :) :(

Heard of you? No.

Standard? No.

We have lots of Europeans. They are in their sub-forums. Please post there. There are hardly any readers here. A few of us "standard" ones are here to make sure that newbies are greeted. We go beyond the call of duty to be here. We're here for the newbies to make them feel at home, answer their questions and guide them to their forums. I guess that makes us special and better than standard, huh? ;)

Welcome, The n9 still has one of ym favorite features in a my phone, being able to hook up external memory to the phone etc...
