the boot animation is attached if you need more info please ask

That's a Sense ROM, so it will go in either /system/customize/resource or /system/media. /system/media is the old location, and shouldn't be used anymore, but you should check where your current one is, first. If you have root explorer, check in /system/customize/resource. Do you see these files:

bootanimation.zip
SPC_animation_final.mp3

If your current boot animation doesn't have sound, you'll only have bootanimation.zip, and not the mp3. If you don't see anything there, check /system/media for these files:

bootanimation.zip
android_audio.mp3

Again, you should have at least bootanimation.zip. It *should* be in that first directory (/system/customize/resource) as that is the correct location to use now. What format is bootanimation in that you want to flash? Is it just called bootanimation.zip? If so, you can use root explorer to:

1) Mount /system as rw
2) Copy your current bootanimation.zip out of /system/customize/resource or /system/media.
3) Delete the mp3 if it exists unless you want to keep the same sound effect during boot (which wouldn't make much sense to do).
4) Copy your new bootanimation.zip to /system/customize/resource.

EDIT: Okay, I see your attachment now. You obviously don't have a mp3, so just delete an mp3 if it exists.

EStrongs file explorer should be able to do it. You need to set it in root mode, though, in options. Try that. If it doesn't work, I can show you how to do it with the terminal emulator.

Great :). Another trick is to find a flashable zip for a boot animation, drop your new boot animation in the zip where you find the other one, then resign the zip, and flash it. Really, though, it's not hard to just copy it manually.
