Just wanted to let you all know, I bought an LG Optimus V for $25 from eBay, yea I know pretty cheap so I'll be running ICS as soon as it arrives and I'm hoping it wasn't updated so I can help make a new unbrick method :thumbup:

Yea I'm hoping it comes with zv4 or zv5, or 2.2.1 and not 2.2.2........it would not help me much or anyone else if it's updated to the newest version already, or it could help me, extra battery and extra charger

You will need to see what screen version you have. If you have a Novatek screen you can flash any recovery or ROM made for the V.
If you have the Hitachi screen you have to be really careful what you flash.

Yea I know I don't get the phone till Monday or Tuesday, I'm hoping I get the Novatek just for less problems, but either way I'm gonna put on JerryScripts recovery...

I'll be trying lots of stuff, and does that also support both phones? And does it work with ICS? (one of many reasons I got this phone, the other reason being I got this phone pretty darn cheap, batteries alone cost $10 so the phone alone is like $15)

It worked with TDMs nightly, so hopefully we don't have to worrying about that damn get prop stuff anymore.

I know how to fix that dumb status 7 stuff and get props....just remove it from updater script..
