im a newbie...but had a ?..am i the only 1 having trouble updaying my prl...it keeps saying unknown error..i have the samsung epic....btw ..Love it!!???

I use Verizon, so I'm at a loss. However, try calling ATT and ask them for help with it. Updating your PRL is really important.

Please take a number and step to the back of the line. You can wait with the rest of us epic owners for our prl updates. lol! Kidding aside, it's a common problem with the epic. Do some searches on prl updates and you'll find a bunch of similar posts. I've personally got mine to register by repeatedly pressing the update button. After a few error messages, mine will finally run the cycle and advise that I'm current. I've also read that you can hit update, wait 5 sec and hit cancel. You then get a message that your prl is updating. There's also a way to manually update, but I've never tried this.

You may want to check and see what your prl is... I believe the current one is 60676 (that's off the top of my head).
