Help HI i'm a new android user

i would like to know, on the note ii, how do you close pages, like the browser page, and the messenging page? And also, if you only use gmail, how can you get ride of that annoying email icon?

To see all your current running apps just long press the Home button. From here you can clear all or individual apps. To do that just long press on the app you want to close.

To get rid of the GMail icon, open the Gmail App then hit the Menu touch button. Click the email account you want to adjust the settings on. Check/Uncheck the Notification setting.

There just might also be an arrow putting to the right located on the bottom of the screen.

If you're referring to closing a page to get back to the home screen, just hit the home button (hardware button on the bottom center). If you mean to get back to the previous screen, hit the back button (soft button on bottom right).

To get rid of any icon on a home screen, just press & hold it for a second & drag it to the trash can.
