this a quick and random question....... i didn't get the ICS update to my phone and i know it's coming to each provider one in a time i'am not on any provider and I REALLY DONT KNOW which region my phone is or from so here is the information about it so you guys could tell me HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TI WAIT p.s i don't really want to use odine so here is't :
And.version:2.3.5.

baseband.ver : I9100XXKI4

kernal: 2.6.35.7

build number : GINGERBREAD.JPKJ2

and it would help if someone explain to me what these is for . THX:p

Looks like your phone is Egyptian firmware with code OJP.

Although I didn't see your OJP in that list... I tracked it down, here:-

Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II Firmwares.

No concrete release date for ICS for Egypt as far as I know.
 
thx again but i read the threads that you attached and i don't understand how you know it's Egyptian firmw because the Egyptian ones is 2.3.4 or 2.3.3 but my phone is 2.3.5 so it's either from Iran or UAE is that right ?
 
An update to 2.3.5 was released for Egyptian handsets back in October.

The only way to be sure is to enter " *2767*4387264636#" in the keypad and see which Product Code (PCode) is returned. Then go to CheckFUS, select the GT-i9100 and compare the PCode to those listed for the various locales.

If you have not updated your phone, then it could very well be UAE or Iranian as the same code applies to a geographic region rather than a particulr country.
 
yup i checked what slug suggested and yes it's from UAE so is there any word about the date for them ??!!! and a GREAT THANKS TO YOU GUYS :D
 
Hi, i have the same CSC code in my galaxy s2.. just wana check if the Ice Cream Sandwich is out for us ..
