Glad I found this place as I have learned a lot already! I have an HTC Hero and it is the first smart phone I have owned or used. I work with Linux every day so when Android appeared I had to have one. Took a while to convice "She who pays the bills" but it was worth it. :)

Been there :) I originally did a google search looking for info and google found your thread. That is how I ended up here in the first place. Great guide. Should be printed out and given with every new phone.
